About the role
Cleverbridge is seeking a strategic and people-focused Manager, Email & Marketing Automation to lead and evolve our lifecycle marketing function.
This is a player/coach leadership role responsible for driving performance across multiple client portfolios, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring email and marketing automation deliver measurable revenue impact.
You will lead people, programs, and client strategy - elevating the maturity, scalability, and commercial contribution of the channel.
What You’ll Own
Lifecycle Strategy & Performance
- Define and lead lifecycle and automation strategies across client accounts
- Translate business objectives into scalable customer journey frameworks that drive engagement, retention, and revenue
- Establish KPIs and performance standards aligned to commercial outcomes
- Identify account growth opportunities through strategic lifecycle expansion
- Drive structured testing and data-informed optimization
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of email and marketing automation specialists
- Set clear expectations around strategic thinking, execution quality, and accountability
- Elevate the team’s lifecycle expertise and analytical capabilities
- Ensure effective resource planning and operational excellence
Client Leadership
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients
- Lead performance reviews and lifecycle roadmap discussions
- Present insights and recommendations clearly tied to business impact
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships
Operational Excellence
- Standardize processes, frameworks, and reporting across accounts
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Client Success, Product, and Finance
- Contribute to forecasting and profitability management within the channel
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, including strong experience in email, lifecycle, or marketing automation
- Proven track record of driving measurable engagement and revenue impact
- Experience leading teams in a client-facing or performance-driven environment
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, segmentation strategy, and analytics (experience with platforms such as Emarsys, HubSpot, or Marketo is a plus)
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- High ownership mindset and ability to operate in a growth-oriented environment

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $90,000 to $110,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Cleverbridge is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
