About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Automation Programs team. This role will support the execution and optimization of marketing automation lifecycle campaign initiatives designed to enhance customer engagement, retention, and conversions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with hands-on campaign execution experience and a passion for continuous improvement in digital marketing strategies.
Your responsibilities
Marketing Automation Program Execution & Optimization
- Assist with the setup, execution, and monitoring of automated lifecycle campaigns (email workflows such as: renewal, churn prevention, nurture programs, etc. as well as A/B tests and optimizations etc.).
- Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, revenue, etc.) and identify optimization opportunities.
- Implement data-driven campaign adjustments in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager.
Client Support & Communication
- Prepare and deliver performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Respond to client inquiries related to campaign performance and automation strategy.
- Contribute to strategic discussions on expanding renewal marketing automation programs.
- Support relationships with vendors and external consultants to ensure seamless collaboration.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Ensure consistency and quality in campaign execution and reporting.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Maintain data accuracy and reporting integrity for meaningful insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Client Success, Development, and Product teams to align campaign automations with broader digital marketing services efforts.
- Support integrated multi-channel campaigns to maximize client outcomes.
- Share client feedback and insights with internal teams to improve strategy and service offerings.
Market & Industry Awareness
- Stay current on marketing automation tools, trends, and best practices.
- Participate in training, workshops, and industry events to build expertise.
- Contribute to team thought leadership by sharing innovative ideas and approaches.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., WhatCounts, Emarsys, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting campaign performance data.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
