About us
Cleverbridge is a premium global commerce platform and Merchant of Record built for the needs of software and SaaS companies.
We help software businesses sell globally, reduce operational and regulatory complexity, improve revenue performance, and support direct, partner-led, and hybrid go-to-market models. Since 2005, leading software brands have relied on Cleverbridge to scale revenue across 240+ countries and territories.
Today, we’re entering a new phase of growth. Alongside our core Merchant of Record business, we’re helping software companies create digital buying paths for routine transactions, renewals, add-ons, long-tail purchases, and global sales motions that are often still handled manually.
It’s a focused, high-impact opportunity: help change the way the world sells software.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to build and execute high-impact field marketing programs that generate qualified pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and support revenue growth.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to turn strategic marketing initiatives into commercial outcomes. You'll design, deliver, and optimize integrated field programs that engage target accounts, create executive-level buying conversations, and support every stage of the sales cycle.
You'll own a portfolio of demand generation activities including executive dinners, conferences, client and prospect events, webinars, virtual roundtables, advisory board programs, and account-based marketing initiatives. Every program will have a clear commercial objective, whether that's creating new pipeline, progressing strategic opportunities, expanding existing accounts, or strengthening relationships with key decision-makers.
This is not an event management role. Success will be measured by the quality of opportunities created, pipeline generated, and contribution to revenue. You'll work in lockstep with Sales to align programs to territory priorities, target accounts, and key opportunities, ensuring every investment delivers measurable commercial impact.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll partner closely with Growth Marketing, Content, GTM Engineering, Sales, Client Success, and executive leadership to develop integrated campaigns with clear target audiences, compelling messaging, robust follow-up plans, and defined pipeline and revenue goals.
Your Responsibilities
Own field marketing strategy and execution
- Translate company priorities into focused field programs for key segments, verticals, personas, and target accounts.
- Be accountable for the commercial success of every program, setting clear objectives and performance targets across target account engagement, executive meetings, qualified pipeline, opportunity progression, and influenced revenue.
- Build and manage the field marketing calendar across executive dinners, conferences, industry events, client programs, webinars, virtual roundtables, advisory board activities, and other targeted demand generation plays.
- Create repeatable playbooks for event planning, audience targeting, speaker coordination, sales follow-up, and post-event measurement across both in-person and virtual programs.
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, from program design to vendor management, logistics, reporting, and follow-through.
Drive executive and account-based programs
- Plan and execute executive dinners, roundtables, private events, webinars, virtual roundtables, and curated experiences for senior buyers and strategic accounts.
- Partner with Sales to define the right account list, invite strategy, executive hosts, messaging, and follow-up motion for each program.
- Support priority verticals and segments, especially cybersecurity, CAD/design, and enterprise software companies with complex global sales motions.
- Help create memorable, high-relevance moments that make Cleverbridge stand out with the right accounts.
Turn programs into pipeline
- Own the end-to-end execution of every program, from audience strategy and account selection through registration, attendee engagement, sales enablement, follow-up, and performance analysis, ensuring no opportunities are lost through poor execution.
- Partner with Sales to maximize commercial outcomes, ensuring every program is aligned to territory priorities, target accounts, active opportunities, and clear account-level action plans, with timely follow-up and measurable progression through the pipeline.
- Ensure effective program measurement and optimization, working with GTM Engineering and Revenue Operations to track, analyze, and improve performance across Salesforce, HubSpot, Common Room, Outreach, and other GTM systems, using data to continuously increase pipeline creation and ROI.
Partner across marketing, sales, and executive leadership
- Work closely with Growth Marketing to connect field programs to paid media, nurture, retargeting, and account-based campaigns.
- Collaborate with Content Marketing to develop event themes, invitations, landing pages, follow-up emails, session abstracts, speaker materials, and post-event content.
- Partner with Sales and Client Success to identify the right accounts, hosts, clients, speakers, and reference opportunities.
- Support executive stakeholders with briefing materials, attendee context, talking points, and post-event follow-up recommendations.
Manage programs, vendors, and budgets
- Own planning and execution across venues, agencies, contractors, vendors, sponsorships, speaker logistics, registration, travel coordination, and on-site experience.
- Manage field marketing budgets with discipline, including investment recommendations, forecasts, cost tracking, vendor negotiations, and ROI reporting.
- Create clear timelines, project plans, and internal updates so stakeholders know what is happening, who owns what, and what decisions are needed.
- Continuously improve the field marketing operating model so programs get faster, sharper, and easier to repeat.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in field marketing, demand generation, event marketing, account-based marketing, or integrated B2B marketing.
- Proven experience planning and executing executive events, conferences, dinners, roundtables, webinars, virtual events, advisory boards, or account-based programs.
- Strong understanding of how field marketing supports pipeline creation, sales progression, and target account engagement.
- Experience working closely with Sales on audience selection, event promotion, account follow-up, and pipeline reporting.
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to align Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and senior stakeholders around program goals and follow-up.
- Excellent project management skills, including timeline ownership, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, budget tracking, and on-site execution.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create clear briefs, invitations, landing page copy, speaker materials, and internal updates.
- Comfort operating in Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Common Room, or similar CRM, marketing automation, and sales engagement tools.
- Ability to manage multiple programs at once without losing detail, quality, or follow-through.
- Willingness to travel as needed for conferences, executive events, client programs, and field marketing activities.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, ecommerce, or enterprise software preferred; experience marketing to cybersecurity and CAD/design companies is a plus.
- Experience applying AI tools to accelerate planning, research, project management, content development, or reporting preferred.
