About the role
We are seeking an experienced Client Success Director with a commercial and consultative mind to help our most strategic clients grow and retain their digital business with Cleverbridge. This role is responsible for shaping long-term partnerships, leading executive engagement, and aligning internal teams on the clients with greatest business impact.
The Client Success Director acts as the senior strategic advisor to their assigned accounts. The role works across senior leadership, Sales, Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Product, and other functions to ensure best-in-class delivery and performance of our solutions. This is an individual contributor role.
Your Responsibilities
- Own a small portfolio of high-value, complex accounts, with accountability for retention, growth and overall account health
- Define and lead multi-year account plans focused on client maturity, macroeconomic drivers, and long-term growth potential
- Build executive relationships and serve as the senior point of contact for strategic alignment, escalations and risk assessment
- Lead regular performance reviews and use data-driven insights to influence client strategy and internal prioritization
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Technical Account Management, Product, Payments, Finance, and Delivery teams.
- Maintain an accurate ongoing financial forecast to manage the financial health of your portfolio
- Support internal decision-making and strategy with clear account narrative, forecast, opportunity framing and recommended actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Act as an ambassador of the Cleverbridge value proposition, reinforcing our strategic position in the market.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in customer success, strategic account management or consulting in an ecommerce environment
- Proven track record of managing large, complex and sensitive client relationships at senior and executive levels
- Experience leading multi-year success plans, high-impact growth roadmaps and transformation initiatives
- Ability to tie performance insights, client needs, and commercial priorities into a clear account strategy
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience working across multiple internal functions to mobilize resources and drive outcomes
- Strong analytical and commercial mind, including experience with revenue drivers, contract economics, and forecasting inputs
- Proficiency in Salesforce and reporting tools, Power BI experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce, ideally PowerBI
A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $100,000 - $180,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Cleverbridge is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
